What is the cosalert formula? or Why Cosalert?
Many cosmetic products are labeled “hypoallergenic” by their manufacturers but there are no official legal definitions or mandatory testing standards for this term and no evidence is required to use the “hypoallergenic” label. Cosalert takes the mystery out of hypoallergenic by quantifying what ingredients are allergenic and how much. Scores range from zero to 1000, zero being the absence of currently known allergens and 1000 being the maximal score where every ingredient is an allergen with the highest allergenic potential.
